A proud member of the Lake Babine Nation, Genevieve believes that the talents the staff bring to the Dze L K’ant Friendship Centre Society, alongside the pride they feel working for the organization, help her to maintain her positive attitude – at work and at home! This is also what has kept her in role at the Friendship Centre since 1998, when she joined the team as a receptionist.
As Program Director, her character goes a long way in helping her carry out her role at the forefront of the Friendship Centre. Her ability to connect with others on a compassionate level is what makes her so great at her job, and just as valuable around the office.
Genevieve is a loving mother of three. Her strong influence has inspired her children to also play a big role within the community of Smithers.
