Born in New Hazelton; raised in Houston, BC: Liv Waterhouse joined the team at Houston’s Dze L K’ant Friendship Centre Society in 2022!
Currently working towards earning her Early Childhood Education License, Liv has a strong passion for creative art and working with children. She is committed, passionate, and strives to provide a fun learning environment; additionally, programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
During their early, formative years, children first learn to interact with others—peers, teachers, and parents. Likewise, children also begin to develop interests that will stay with them throughout their lives.
At the Dze L K’ant Friendship Centre Society, we offer a free Early Childhood Education program for caregivers/parents with children ages 0-6, “Tadpoles”.
“Tadpoles” is a fun, inclusive, child-centred program focused on positive health promotion—educational, nutritional, and culturally relevant for community children, allowing room for growth mentally, physically, and spiritually.
