Description: Looking for temporary acommodations in an incredibly central location in Smtihers? This unique 6 month Sublet is available from January until June 2022. Space is fully furnished and equipped (with kitchenwares, towels and bedding as needed). This is your chance to live in one of Smithers’ original log homes, with real wood heat, exposed logs, and timber frame features. The living space includes a lofted sleeping area, and a large separate living room (with the wood stove) that could also be used as a secondary sleeping are if needed. The kitchen has granite countertops. As it has for the past century, the house is primarily heated by its wood stove. It is cozy and authentic, and keeps utility costs low. The right tenant for this place would know how to operate a wood stove and understand the importance of keeping the house warm during cold weather. Also note that this property is strictly non-smoking (of any kind), and non-partying (a young family lives in the house’s other suite). Small families would be welcome, but would also be suitable for working at home or for a couple. I’m looking for the right tenant: tell me a bit about yourself and why you are needing accommodation, and I can send more photos and information if needed, and arrange for viewings. Allergy allert- I do have an indoor/outdoor cat, who would move to the other side of the house for the period (unless you love cats and want her to stay).
