The Dze L K’ant Friendship Centre is completing an Indigenous Housing Study aimed at shining a light on the unique housing needs of Urban Indigenous People living in Smithers, Telkwa, Houston and surrounding areas.
The Housing Study will help better understand the housing needs of local Indigenous peoples and will help shape our Indigenous housing development project plans for the future.
The Dze L K’ant Friendship Centre is inviting all of our urban Indigenous community members to share their housing needs and knowledge with us by completing the survey and participating in our online focus groups discussions which we are hosting throughout December 2021.
To complete our survey online, CLICK HERE
If you wish to have support to complete the survey, our friendly housing team at the Smithers and Houston Friendship Centres can do a one-on-one interview with you.
We are providing all those who complete the survey with a small gift. All focus group participants will receive an honorarium.
Please contact the Friendship Centre 250-847-5211 or come by our Centres in Smithers or Houston to learn more.
